Cattleya (Laelia) crispa

We're approaching 100 oF in sunny San Diego but the orchids seem to be doing just fine (except the coelogynes! they are melting) . It's finally time for my favorite, Cattleya crispa to bloom. This year it seems a little shy blooming, maybe because I was growing a couple seed pods from last years blooms. The first spike just opened this week.
