SVO 9629 - C. (Hawaiian Variable x aclandiae)

Hello folks!

I just bloomed out an interesting cross from Fred's 2023 list: SVO9629 - Cattleya California Dream (Hawaiian Variable 'Green and White' x aclandiae alba 'SVO' AM/AOS).

It showed pigmentation on new growths so I figured it wouldn't bloom out alba, but I didn't expect it to be spotless! The bloom is 5" across, very beautiful, quite fragrant (spicy floral) - and the coral blush/flaring over the mustard color is stunning. The bloom glows in the light. I think some of the peloria from the Hawaiian Variable parent came through, although it isn't extreme.

I'm curious to see how siblings of this have bloomed out - especially if any did turn out alba. I'd love to see pictures of this cross in your collections if you've bloomed it!
