B. nodosa plants are widely available in many mail-order nurseries, if you're interested in ever ordering orchids. Since you're in FL, you might be more used to buying them in-person (and for that I am jealous)!

Yeah, Everlast is a 20 minute drive from my house. Depending on the time of year, it is something to see!

A bag baby is a small orchid plant sold in a plastic mesh bag with a big label at the top. Some stores have a rack with the bags hanging from multiple hooks.

Bag babies are produced by sunbulb under the better gro brand, sold in garden centers attached to Lowe's and Home Depot, and perhaps others. They come in a sort of cellophane sleeve, or bag, as it were. They are generally seedling sized, but now and again some of the little things in 2 inch pots are ready to go. Generally brassavola, cattleya, encyclia, or epidendrum hybrids, but also may include small vandas and others. Not too expensive, but often 2 yrs from blooming size. Look closely, they are often stuck off in a corner and may be neglected.

They aren't everywhere in the US. I haven't seen them ever in Arizona, and not for some years in southern California.

Spring Orchids in Spring, Tx has some seedlings. I picked one up from them when they attended our show in May.
