Cattleya Schofieldiana 'Tesch' Bloom Watch
I received this plant from Waldor in June 2020. In that time the growths have gone from 6" to the 38" monster growing now. It has bloomed twice for me, the first time with 1 flower and the second year with 2. It is like a fluorescent green. This year it has 8 buds, which I think is about as high as the flower count goes on this species. Super fragrant, super waxy. Proud of this one
Photo from first bloom:

All the plants make it hard to see, but here is the full plant

Florescent green buds y'all!

Look at all of those buds. That's pretty fantastic. And I like the tall, thin pseudobulbs too. Might have to look for this species.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!
Buds update... Spacing themselves out nicely, dripping in happy sap.

These suckers are all fattening up at the same rate, looks like they will all open together.

From yesterday... Today may be the day. Look forward to the fragrance (like unscented Dove soap to my nose). One flower overpowered my whole grow room before, I'm expecting these 8 to deliver a house filling aroma for a couple weeks
The petals/sepals are so waxy and thick on this species. You can see the thickness in this pic pretty well.
