Default C.Orpeti X C.Seagull's Apricot

might have a name. I will update it If I do find one.

nice red flower on the bigger side of small with the coccinea.

consistent double buds on each new growth once they start to bloom. 2 times a year in most cases. they are small now but will grow to make just spectacular displays well grown.

thanks for looking !!!

I can't get to Orchid Roots right now to check - but I think Cattleya Mom is available.

Orchidroots seems to be having problems. I checked RHS and also AOS OrchidPro ... no registration. So go for it!

thru the RHS I need Sunset Valley Permission bec I am not the originator of the plant. I will email Fred see if he doesnt mind me naming the plant. Send him a picture of the plant and the SVO tag on it so we can know what I am doing here.

RJ's Orpetii Seagull.

Im also looking thru old awards of the orpetii etc. looking for good descriptions I can mash-up from the AOS judges.

"Two flat flowers on one inflorescence; sepals elliptical, cerise red, veined darker red; petals round, slightly ruffled margin, cerise-red, veined darker red; lip deep carmine, margin ruffled; column white; side lobes and mid-lobes of lip red, interior of lip yellow with red veins; anther cap white; heavy substance, crystalline texture."

email sent 4/17/24

Orchid Roots okey tonight.
