Until it's well-established on a mount, you'll need to soak it at least once a week. I used to dunk it in a bucket for 30 min once or twice a week. Now it seems to be doing ok outdoors in southern California for a year.

It is mounted correctly - the plant has a pendant growth habit, the leaves droop naturally.
