I had it potted at first but it didn't do well for me until i mounted it. Even then I had the mount in a smaller bonsai pot. Here is a photo now and the original set up from 2019.

I like the bonsai pot idea, I am doing similar for my Brassivolla Nodosa, not exactly bonsai pot but I have mount sitting on lava rock and the water is in the reservoir with a wicking thread, but I would like to try a bonsai pot.

I like Kyoguchi and have a few crosses but want just a Kyoguchi. However I prefer blooming size. I keep hoping that Fred Clarke will offer a pure Kyoguchi so I can pick one up at the SVO open house.
