Here is the first bloom of my Brassocattleya Davie Stars (SVO 10051, Bc. Richard Mueller '4n' x B. perrinii 'Ruben'). When the flowers open they are pinkish, but they turn to a very saturated yellow in a few days.
Somebody was recently asking about Brassavola nodosa primary hybrids, and how soon they flower. This has B. perrinii and nodosa in its ancestry. Notice how small and young the plant is.
