I am afraid I will be disappointing all those waiting for the ultimate secret, but I just made modest changes and they worked for me.
I used to take my flasks to my greenhouse. The idea of this was two fold. First, the flask would get solar light instead of artificial light. Second, the seedling would be acclimated to the same environment where they would be growing later.
One night while doing something not related to orchids, downed on me that the temperature separation between nights and days was not conductive to proper seedlign growth. I live in Florida and the temperature separation between day and nights is very narrow. So, I rigged a stand with cheap LED lights in a room that is not in use and opened the windows during the day and turned on the AC at night 75F = 24C. Lights 12h on a timer. Another change was to switch to the real agar from the artificial one and use regular MS with no vitamins. For those in Europe and South America, 3mg of Krystalon orange per liter works as good or better than any commercial mediums.
