Amazing!!
I got one in early June and it started flowering shortly after, it's still flowering now and I see a couple more buds to come. I was pleasantly surprised as I have a purple colored hybrid of this species and it makes far fewer flowers which also individually don't last as long.

I couldn't keep these alive until I stood them in shallow dishes of water. Members of this genus seem to use very much more water than most other Cattleya alliance plants.

i have had close to this success but a heat wave or my neglect always interrupts them and kills the spike
really good job by you maintaining that sweet spot for 16 months!!!
