I recall what you said, I think they split off harrisoniana "officially". The old Brabantiae (loddigesii x aclandiae) made with 'Streeter's Choice' are now considered Olenus (if one agrees that this variety is actually harrisoniana)

You guys are making my head spin with all the talk about parent identification, naming conventions, etc. HA! Even so, I truly appreciate the discussion as I am learning so much about my species orchids and primary hybrids.

My C. dolosa was tagged as (Cattleya loddigesii × Cattleya walkeriana) var. alba and is not nearly as old as Peter's stunning specimen. Here she is in bloom this past spring season.
