I am fond of this nice Cattleya. It seems to almost open its flower bud for the second year. However, it is also growing roots very outside the pot! Should I repot it already?
Bifoliate Cattleyas often suffer when repotted at the wrong time. The time to repot will be when the plant is first making new roots and the new roots are less than a few millimeters long. Until then it is fine in that pot, and you will have time to read more here about repotting.
