Came back from vacation to a heatwave... and lots of laelias in bloom!

Laelia Pulcherrima (lobata x purpurata)






Laelia Verano (grandis x tenebrosa)






Laelia purpuratas

Ecuagenera one...




First bloom on this seedling...

That last one is a coerulea x werkhauseri (which i dont know the difference…) and the flowers were already 7 in on the first bloom. It’s a very beautiful color.

Here is C. purpurata semi-alba 'Lenette's #20' x self. Small plant and flowers. Deep wine red lip.





Quite a bit smaller than the: coerulea 'Sweet Twilight' x Laelia purpurata werkhauseri 'Blue Sky'



I don't know what the difference is between a coerulea and a werkhauseri... but this one is: coerulea 'Sweet Twilight' x self








These are all first bloomin on seedling I got from Carter and Holmes a few years ago...

Here's a family photo:

First time seeing all these color forms - I think the werkhauseri is my favorite and the carnea a close second.
