Thank you for posting a picture of entire plant in addition to pictures of gorgeous flowers!

Is this semihydro? The pot looks really small in comparison to the plant it hosts. I am a beginner grower and it is a live-and-learn what different plants may like as a comfortable space.

Indeed the plant is in a small pot.
It is a big plant. 8 leads , all flowering now.
In nature in Venezuela this plant grows on trees. Roots keeping the plant on its place, and this is never a lot of space. Thats why i like to keep my Cattleyas in small pots, even let them grow over the edges. And they do well!

That's a great-looking plant. I love Cattleya gaskelliana for one of the reasons you mentioned, its ability to form lots of new leads when it's happy. And, of course, it's a very rewarding species to grow, and the fragrance is always wonderful. Congratulations on your beauty.

She is stunning, not only the flowers are pretty but the entire plant is.
