Cattleya (formerly Laelia) Zip
From SVO release in February 2022. Bought a few, the first one is blooming now (and a second plant is in high bud).
Laelia tenebrosa x Laelia milleri, or to satisfy the damned taxonomists, Cattleya tenebrosa x Cattleya milleri. Intense color.
Plant is blooming with 2 flowers on each of 2 inflorescences. The second plant has 3 or 4 flowers on one inflorescence. Previously awarded plants have up to 10 flowers on each inflorescence.

Now that's spectacular. I got 2 siblings from this same cross and now I really have something to look forward to seeing!

After almost 5 years looking for one, finally found it a few months ago. The new growth is the first one under my care.
Although still a young plant, most Catts and related genera that I have grow fast around here.

Following up on this, I contacted Fred Clarke and asked about availability. He said he was out at the moment, but has remade it and will have them available in 2025.
