Default Epidendrum parkinsonianum

Here's a fun Epidendrum that dangles about with large blooms.

It's beautiful.
I love this epidendrum, but for some reason it reminded me of barssavola.

It definitely has a Brassavola nodosa-like look to it!

Check it now... if indoors, turn off the lights and wait 5 or 10 minutes. Mine had no fragrance half an hour ago, it is just now starting to develop as it gets dark, very sweet and exotic.

Oh you’re right! It had to be pitch dark for a while before I could detect any fragrance. Different than my nodosa and grandiflora which start being fragrant in the evening regardless or light or dark…

My Epidendrum parkinsonianum smells intriguing. Some mix of ginger and camphor, with a hint of sweetness? Smells like an old dresser in a pleasant, nostalgic sort of way? If that makes any sense haha…
