Default Cattleya percivaliana coerulea

I thought the buds had blasted in the sheath but they ended up coming out of the dried sheath a few months later. My whole collection is a little out of whack because they had poor conditions when they were moved out of my condo during renovation. This is a descendant of 'Ondine' HCC/AOS

Beautiful! My experience with the species, it is a tough-as-nails survivor. (I grow mine outside, winter temperatures sometimes into the high 30's F /1-2 deg C)

Thanks! I agree, this thing is a tank. I accidentally sprayed it with 10% bleach and it bounced back even with some tissue collapse on the leaves. this second blooming is better form but its a tad bit reflexed.

this is one of the few coerulea forms that I like in the Cattleya genus. the lip color looks even better in person. its got like a velvet quality to it.
