this one came from Odom's right down the street from you.. I Have a few plants from them. What grows well in Florida makes a good run in Texas too...

i think the mechanism is movement, from wind i assume, but i moved it into my lath house and kind of wedged it against the wall so it could not swing as much in the breeze and the selfing is way down.

Claw- do you have a fan pointed at it? if so, maybe try a more indirect breeze and maybe the selfing will drop.

purely anecdotal and worth what you pay for the advice

Hi DC, you nailed it, it was right near my fan. This advice came in the nick of time. Was able to move it out of the path of the wind just before it's new bud opened
