Yep, they’re there. I bought 3 little catts, all variations on BLC Amazing Thailand.
It’s nice to know we can give ourselves a little reward for taking on whatever task it was that drew us to Bunnings in the first place.

Cattleya (Laelia) perrinii
This one doesn’t quite fit the definition of being easy to grow and flower outside at this latitude - it’s been easy to grow but definitely not easy to flower. In fact this is its first flowering and I’ve had it 6 years. The lead colour makes it look like it was lacking light but it was in fact growing in strong light.
I bought this from Australian Orchid Nurseries when it briefly did a line in ‘cool growing exotic orchids’ back in 2017. It was tiny, in a 50mm pot. I bought a few of their cool growers - L. albida, a couple of purpurata, LC edissa, LC Santa Barbara sunset etc - all good choices and doing well. It’s a shame other Australian orchid nurseries don’t sell more plants like these so those of us who don’t like to join clubs or know other orchid growers could get a wider range of plant.

Another easy one (for me)
This is another one of the little polypack Collectors Corner orchids from Bunnings. Bought in 2017. Hardy outdoors here and easy to flower.
I like the venous nature of the petals, more intense in real life. I’m not sure I can say I really like the flower - it takes floof to a new level.
It’s Rlc Chia Lin x Tubtin Siam or something of similar spelling.

And another
This is another of the little Bunnings polypack orchids and the first of its year to flower.
I know a lot of people don’t much like either green flowers or splash petals but it is striking in this combination. BLC Pathum green.

Unusually heavy substance and very fragrant too, so nothing really.
