3rdMaestro- not my first award, but a First Class Certificate (FCC) is the highest flower award the American Orchid Society bestows. It also opens the possibility for a couple of national prizes!

Wow, wow, wow!!!! Those are so very gorgeous and, in my experience, seeing flowers in real life is always even better! Congratulations!!!
I have watched orchids taken for consideration at our shows but I do not think I have ever seen a FCC awarded. It is a pretty impressive to get this.
