Could this be a virus. Pictures attached.

The second photo is out of focus. It looks like there might be scale or mealy bugs in the first photo - the powdery stuff on the leaf.

You can't tell a plant is virused without testing. But insects can cause damaged leaves like your plant has.

As said, the only way to know if there is a virus is to test for a virus and, I have heard it recommended by those who do testing as a career, to always do at least two tests to prevent false results.

I do not see signs of virus and, because I do not know the history, I cannot say exactly what the cause is (injury, Calcium deficiency, temperatures, fungus/bacterial....).

Looks more like mechanical damage or fungal from water sitting in there?

I also agree with either mechanical damage or damage from water sitting, and direct light with no airflow.(lighting looks indoors, so I assume no strong airflow).

As long as it gets decent airflow, the damage shouldn't spread.
