I like your Google Earth portion, and I appreciate that you mentioned that C. walkeriana primarily grows in savannah areas instead of something like an environment comparable to, for example, the Venezuelan rain forest (basically in what I might typically associate as a more-or-less "standard cattleya environment"). Thank you for sharing the information. If you would have done this around 15 years ago, you might have saved me from becoming (temporarily!) the grim reaper of many walkerianas.

Ha! I was just starting to do well with walkerianas in Hawaii 15 years ago so a video might not have been super helpful! lol
