Leila in bloom..do you now it? 🌸
Summer as always gives us flowers 🌸
I don't know how I do it, but I always lose the name tag (IDs), especially the hybrids. Although I do worry about grouping them by taxonomy, family, or genus when I buy them (received them).
If anyone knows...ill try to tag it, now that we can see the bloom.
Enjoy!

Just a suggestion on your lost tag issue. Instead of sticking the tag in the pot, punch a small hole in one end and loosely tie it to a backbulb with a twist tie.

I'm going to suggest Lc Interceps. (My Interceps coerulea is in bloom now, just finishing, so timing is about right) And it looks a lot like that though the petals on yours are fuller... maybe a hybrid with Interceps, or just made with better parents.

Beautiful healthy orchid! My problem is not losing the tags, but rather after a few years, even using indelible ink, the tag fades and is unreadable. I have yet to find an ink pen, even those reported to be for gardens, that doesn't fade over time.

I keep a list of all my orchids just in case a tag gets lost. That way, I can usually easily determine what the orchid is when it blooms.
