A nice pink Cattleya

Here is a wonderful Cattleya with electric pink blooms and a heavenly fragrance that fills my home. It's starting to bloom better now, with nice 6.5" blooms. The new growths are nearly completely red and turn green after a while. Blooms about twice a year. Couple of other sheaths still developing.

The patterning in the lip reminds me of dowiana, do you know if it has dowiana in its background?

This is the so called C. mossiae "willowbrook". I hid the name since it always turns into a conversation about its provenance! I think it's such a wonderful strain, whatever it is!

I wish I could show how neon and velvety the blooms are. It's essentially an 80s laser color...

Aha, yes I took a look at some of the opinions. Although I do like things to be named as long as you are aware of alternative views I'm with you, its beautiful regardless and should be enjoyed just as it is.
