Here is a nice yellow hybrid with a strong lemon detergent scent. While I push it to grow many of orchids in full sun here... this one actually seems to thrive in it, along with L. anceps and Den. aggregatum. It is getting pretty huge (in a 10 in pot)... maybe time to chop it up!

My only qualm is that it's a bug magnet.....

I got this one as a BetterGro BagBaby a couple of years ago. I miss finding the assorted orchids at the hardware stores.

It's a nice bit of yellow in SoCal, where we're in the cloudy/sprinkly season referred to as "may gray and june gloom".

That is one really nice looking plant! Color of the blooms is great, and the upright spikes carry the blooms nicely above the foliage, which really shows them off.
The yellow/red foliage compliments the flowers nicely.

Ours are gone too. Seemed to be something to do with COVID. Shame.

How beautiful the plant looks! Here they have sold it several times and it never occurred to me to buy it, if I see it now, I will buy it right away.
