Second one should be at my house! Love that color combo.

I was wise to remove the medium from the Cattleya aclandiae as soon as it arrived...all but one root was completely rotted as there was some sort of sphagnum moss core. That was disappointing.

After almost a month and a half the new growth is about 4” up from half an inch. And a couple of new roots coming out of the new growth. Very slow growing, lol! This is a Walkeriana from SVO.

I use long tweezers to carefully remove the sphag core when I am repotting to a larger pot. I leave the void created empty, or try to shove some orchiata in there. I don't find the sphag core to be a problem until I up-pot into something > 5"

I keep my SVO catt separate from my other catt so I remember to water them less frequently- until I repot them into pot with all bark media.

Hmm, I don't see anything on the website or email...
