Check out this teeny loddigesii blooming in a two inch pot (first two photos)! The next two photos are of a mature sized plant from awarded parents (Aranda x A-Doribil), third photo. Beauty; And with 2 blooms nonetheless! Can’t wait for my leoloddiglossa speckled blue x little leopard to bloom. Is that coco husk in the larger square?

That sounds like a nice cross on your hands! I used cypress mulch on the top of that white pot, which is actually a retrofitted dirty litter container

the Aranda B x Adorbil is HUGE! I had no idea. I got a loddigesii based on your recommendations and I can confirm they are easy to grow. Mine is peloric and bloomed with a deformed flower the first time, the petals never opened up fully. Hoping it blooms better next year. Do you know if they can bloom multiple times a year?

It comes already dirty? I have to wait for the cats to do that.

They're both excellent. But did you mistreat the first one to make some sort of point? It looks like it's telling me that it no longer wants to live in Texas. I'm sure you can see that too if you look at it closely enough.

Under my conditions, they seem to bloom fairly regularly. However, I wonder if this might be a species that can bloom several times per year under lights? Can anyone confirm/deny that thought that grows this species exclusively under lights?

Yes, this species is somewhat common in the USA! Looks like Krull-Smith has A-Doribil in a 6" pot for $45 (here).

I have the A-dorbi (selling a division on eBay), but I think yours may surpass it.
