This is a very nice one, and a typical trianae flower.
I was hoping to have a shape like this with my trianae plants, but as i mentioned, i think due lack of light the flowers didnt develop as nice as they should.
I dont want to use atrificial lighting, as i do not want to disturb the plants with a short day, or long day cyclus, of which i have a bunch.
Ill have to do it with the trianae i have now, at least the fragrance is wonderful!
Peter- when I grew in a New Hampshire greenhouse I found I HAD to supplement. I don't think it was so much the shortened days as it is all the freaking endless gloomy gray sunless days from November to March so I think Grautier is on to something.
Yes, i understand what you mean.
For now i made a choice not to use extra lights.
Often the autumn and winter have quite some days with sunshine, unfortunately not this year. Its a big difference. But it is what it is.
i can add that even though my plants only get about 10 hours of light in the winter, 7.5 of those hours are under the LEDs and the plants' leaves are a nice light green, and they put out strong growths, and lots of big flowers when the season arrives.
