Encyclia cordigera var. semi-alba
Just single inflorescence with six flowers, as it is very young plant with just five bulbs; nonetheless, it is emitting powerful perfume filling the entire balcony during the midday--it is very rosy with slight citrus-like undertone. I've had this for three years as small a seedling. |

BTW, that fat root running across in the background is my Vanda tesselata, which is currently growing roots like there is no tomorrow.

That is a very good-looking bloom. And your description of the scent makes it even more attractive.
I want to see the Vanda tessellata, please, even if it's not in bloom. I love this species. Its scent alone would be reason enough to grow it. A little off topic, I know. But you did open the door with that comment about the root. :-)
