I have had this plant for about five years, first acquired as a mounted seedling, and while flowering every year, it never grew more than one growth at a time, only single lead coming out of the previous years of growth. I've read that this particular section of Hadrolaelias (the sectional name was kept despite the current phylogenetic identification) prefer even moisture entire year and my home happened to be quite dry, so I dismounted the plant and put it in a shallow plastic container filled with pumice and LECA. Apparently, it really liked its new habitat and sprouted two growths from its backbulbs.
...and every three of them sporting a flower buds.
The lead bulb has its flower opened first, and one of the secondary growths should open within a week.
