Cattleya labiata rubra
First flowering of this seedling plant.
It is still a small plant and was surprised to see a sheath growing, and now flowers.
Got it as C. labiata. But looks like a v. rubra to me?
Flowers just opend, still a bit messy.
Not very big, but shape looks ok?

I have truly no idea where it came from.
All i know it is imported from Brazil to Europe.
I got it from a guy that is importing from abroad, and then selling it within EU.

ah Peter,
I was just thinking about my labiata so I wanted to see who was growing one. Congrats on getting yours to flower this year.
I'm hoping you can help tell me what your plant is up to right now 4 months after it flowered?
I want to compare what yours is doing once it is in the flowering rhythm.
Sorry if this is a stupid question. I know it's a little unusual. If you could just tell me if yours is resting now or growing roots or even producing a new pseudobulb.
Mine is not yet flowering size, should be soon so knowing what a flowering sized one is up to elsewhere would be a valuable observation for me right now. Thanks
