C. purpurata

Certainly a popular orchid among orchid growers ....... and there are variations in flower features (colour etc) among all the C. purpurata plants out there - all very nice.

Some nice features about this one here is the nice white coloured tepals, that goes quite well with the purple colour. The lines or veining within the throat area catches the eyes a bit too.

And the trumpet shape also reminds me a bit of morning glory sort of flowers.
