Cattleya x dolosa coerulea
I bought this as an adult plant a while a ago. It's the second time it flowers this year.
This is a natural hybrid between loddigesii and walkeriana. For me it was a cheap way of almost getting an adult walkeriana in coerulea form. They are normally the most expensive color form.
I just bought a violacea coerulea and it cost 2x an alba and an alba cost 2x a normal version. It's often similar for walkerianas, only you have to be careful because some crossings are simply ugly (in my opinion). This one cost similar to a normal violacea or walkeriana. A steal!
I think dolosa is a very nice hybrid. I'm not a fan of hybrids, but primary hybrids and natural hybrids can be quite cool. If I understand correctly, this natural hybrid has not been reproduced artificially to this day. Maybe somebody could confirm?
