I make all my photo's with my Samsung smartphone Galaxy 20. I do recognize your point with the red lip, it is different than it is in real. In real it is a more deep and also darker kind of velvet purple. I wasn't able up til now to get this real color on my photo's, but found out it is slightly better when taking the photo during fading light at the end of the day.
I also have C.Sheila Lauterbach Équilab',(see pic) which is indeed another lookalike, just like C. Melody Fair.(see pic)

I've tried it, outside and late in the afternoon, but without good results. This year I grew a Dahlia Thomas Edison, perhaps you know that one. Its the same purple, even darker, not as velvety. It was a stunning display, bothnin sun and shadow, but the photos, well, just another red Dahlia without further interest ... I'll keep trying, though!

On the other hand, im not a proffesional photographer. I make photo's of my plants to share with other people who might be interested, and because im just happy they do grow and flower well. It's just the fun!

I sometimes have issues with my Samsung A40s phone ----- phone-pics captured with that phone. The colour processing (most likely software side of things) can add some 'interesting' colours ------ with the phone default settings.
Sometimes, without certain manual settings -- such as white balance, and manual focus, etc ...... I can run into more issues with phone-cams -- when compared with bigger cams with bigger sensors and lenses, manual focus, and other features. On the other hand, my Samsung A40s has certainly captured some nice orchid pics too. Depends on conditions and circumstances for sure.
