Default Encyclia?

Well I know theres Enc. in this one but not sure wich. Another noid that i picked up the other day at HD. Very large plant in 6 inch pot. Has a very strong floral scent to it. I tend to pick these up because im just excited when I find something other than a Phal or Dendrobe.

I am agreeing with you. Check out this picture (E. tampensis) There are lots of similar Encyclias out there as well as primary hybrids. Good luck. It is a really nice looking flower and worth the purchase even if you never find out the cross.

well after alot of research and a call to Khlems, it is Enc. alata x cordigera. I used to have cordigera and the scent is very similar. Now I have the best of both parents. Very robust grower with a heavenly scent as well!
