Absolutely beautiful Bayard. Absolutely. I didn't know that Goldenzelle was from Stewart's too! The bright yellow coloured side-lobe and large part of the throat is a very nice feature, aside from all the other colours and nice shapes. Beautiful and excellent growing.

Thanks!
I like the subtle lavender in the petals and sepals.

Definitely! I noticed those wonderful subtle nuances ----- the dashes of the nice colours in the tepals.
The sparkling/glittering is very nice too. Really wonderful to see this photo here.

Wonderful sized bloom with nice colouring.
I have a similar plant, its a very small Rlc. Goldenzelle 'Lemon Chiffon' a very recent purchase from Aurora Orchids.
Their description said it has a citrus fragrance, does your plant have a fragrance?

Diane - it has a faint fragrance. ‘Lemon Chiffon’ has a stronger, soapy fragrance as I recall. Both of my plants are in bud, so I can tell you soon.

I also think the hints of fuschia in the petals and sepals make for an absolutely gorgeous flower. Looks well grown too.

VERY well grown...and yes, the hints of lavender here and there make it more than special.
