Thank you, Jeff214 and Leafmite, for the advice. I might try to keep them in the house this winter just as an experiment. I hate to part with them because I've found that they're not easily found, and when they are the prices are a little high. Again, I appreciate your help.
I grow mine inside my house under lights. Lows rarely go below 60F and my highs are 70-72F during the winter. One winter down and no root loss issues. In my experience, cold sensitive plants can sometimes tolerate cold, but they cant tolerate cold AND wet.
