What concentration are you mixing your fertilizer? Many here are using 125 ppm of N with every watering. I know I'm getting good results, even with my Catts which have been my nemesis. They're actually blooming this year. With your 20-10-20 formula you should be using 1/2 tsp/gal of water. Too much nitrogen can also prevent blooming. I also agree with Don. Too much rooting hormone can cause deformed flowers. Here is a link to Ray Barkalow's fertilizer calculator. All the free info on his site is great stuff. Well worth the time to read. Scroll to the bottom and plug in your N number and 125 for ppm and it will calculate how much per gallon.

Thanks for your suggestions Don. What type of feed do you use for Catts.? I have been using 19-31-17 (1/4 tsp.mixed according to label and using every week with one dropper full of superthrive...now I think I will cut back to 1/8 tsp. per gallon of H2o and 1 drop of superthrive) What do you think?

Guess what guys! I don't want to speak too soon, but I checked the newest growth (the 7th one) and I noticed one day that there was some black sticky stuff coming off the growth and what's more I can barely see inside this newest growth and it looks like I may be getting a sheath!!! Yippy! I will keep you posted. Do the sheaths come along with the new growth or what?
