NoID Cattleya red mark and bullseye markings at base of leaf

I'm not sure if this is anthocyanin building up or if it's something else. I saw similar markings on my Aeridis Flabalata that I've cut off since. This is slightly different however as there is a massive amount of reddish brown. It's also odd that there is a clear straight line between the red and green part of the leaf.

The leaf is very firm, but is curling over and seems like it's not got enough water, it's in semi hydroponics and the other canes and their leaves aren't like this, to this extent. I do think this is it's oldest cane.

As it's starting from the base of the leaf and not the tip, I'm a little concerned.
