Cattleya harrisoniana, fma. alba
Here is an unexpected rarity.
In 1988 Robert Streeter received an FCC on Cattleya harrisoniana 'Streeter's Choice' (an outstanding rose-lavender flower according to the award description).
This plant was self-pollinated. In the resulting seedling population, there were a few alba plants. Streeter selected one of these as the best of the albas, and this plant is a natural division from that original plant.
This flower is 4.3/8" horizontal NS.
