Schomburgkia schultzei vs rosea vs splendida
I received a Schomburgkia schultzei which has now flowered - everything in this sort of group look very similar to each other, so wanted to make sure this was the correct label.
Is anyone aware of the distinguishing factors between them

Very nice! I wish I knew enough about this genus to help out with an ID.

First, it's gorgeous! I have a L. splendida that is a lot lighter with narrower segments. So I would suspect that it isn't splendida. Looking at photos in Orchidwiz, schultzei looks the closest. Yours has wider segments than most in that group, really nice form. Now I want one!

Thanks! The bulbs are much more squat than my splendida and are almost alternating unifoliate and bifoliate - whereas my splendida is all bifoliate. Maybe one year I’ll take it to judging so if it gets awarded they’ll have to do the positive ID.

That's fantastic. Are the blooms fragrant?
