Wanted show the structure of this plant. It’s very pleasing to me and easily my favorite in my small collection. The leaves are 1/8th inch thick and it grows rigid and compact. The parents are crazy beautiful so hoping this cross will produce some amazing spotted coerulian flowers. It’s put on 7 growths since I got it last May 1 when it was pretty small. Has 3, maybe 4 new growths starting which I’m hoping will bear flowers. Either way, I just really like the way the plant grows!

With that parentage, it probably needs to grow a bit taller.

It is an attractive one! I have a few orchids that I like just because of the way they look out of bloom. Then you get the flowers and the orchid is even better.

Beautiful plant! Its incredible how much C. aclandiae can shrink down those huge parents. Can't wait to see the flowers, but I feel the same way: I love the look if the plants!

First of 4 to open. Wasn’t expecting such a green-gray but beautiful nonetheless.

I had a C. amethystoglossa x Guar. aurantiaca from SVO flower the first time a month ago. The flowers were a strange grayish lavender.

Yours might change color over the next few days and with time to grow bigge

Yeah, I'm really liking the transition to a more lavender color. Much more attractive than the grayish meh.
