C. Jewel Red 'Shinzu'
This one has been seen before on this forum. A dash of red this time to redden up our day. In the shade, and in relatively low light ------ the colour of these flowers is reddy-brown-burgundy. But in bright light ------ some nice red colours come out.
The fragrance isn't fantastic for this one - even though I generally just look at orchids and their flowers. But some orchids definitely smell very nice. This one doesn't smell terrible ------ it just doesn't have a perfume sort of scent hehe.
The cross is Jewel Red (not the reverse).

That is a really nice shade of red. That and the yellow Cattleya must really brighten your day! Both are really so pretty.

Incredibly nice to be sharing and enjoying the flower pics with everyone. And for sharing your wonderful comments about the orchid flowers.
I took a couple of extra pics when the same came out this morning, where the sunlight brings out the 'crystal flash' (aka sparkles) that a lot of orchid flowers (and probably other sorts of flower) have.
These two pics are at slightly different angles - for different levels of shades.

That is one fastastic looking Catt, I love the color!
Nice photos too, many sensors have trouble with bright reds which then often come out completely oversaturated.
