Epi. Miracle Valley 'nodeshika' has been flowering since late January on the first raceme?, and produced two additional ones recently.

Is this a common occurance with all reedstem Epidendrum, or just certain genetics?

Miracle Valley does nothing for me, but I see that reedstems also come in orange haha

Many reed stems will branch the flower spikes.

I have one that has around nine spikes, or whatever you call them, and it hasn't been out of bloom for almost a year. It's wild and crazy, and very hard to keep contained to its own space, so it just sits in a corner and I beat it back with a stick.
