Mystery Encyclia
The label says Encyclia aenicta but I have my doubts. Fortunately, this plant is hard to kill!

Very nice flowers! I was just looking up info on aenicta, and the general info says "Flowers are bronze with a lighter colored lip."
Looks excellent anyway.
hehehe ------ just pasted my post from the other thread. But jokes aside ----- the pinky-red colour is absolutely fantastic. Nice find!

H&R in Hawaii made a lot of Encyclia primary hybrids over the years. Maybe try looking those up.

I have reviewed photos of encyclia species and hybrids and think my plant most resembles encyclia adenocaula or guadalupeae based on shape and color. Just a crazy guess!
