SF ----- this one flowered at a similar time last year too over here. Our winter is around June to August. Although, I think that temperatures start to come up sometime in July.
It is winter here in Australia.
There is a prolific orchid grower in our state ----- down toward the south of our state of Queensland --- in the city of Brisbane - a guy named Barry Kable, and I think he mentioned that one of his favourite cattleya orchids is Rlc. Dream Trader. I think he has a different sibling (from the one I have) - but looks similar maybe - seen in this video here.

I'm a fan of various colours in flowers - including the pinks. I got a link to last year's flowering - around July, where some nice colours really come out to play when the sun comes out (

Totally agree that there is a lot of variety out there among the various siblings of Rlc. Dream Trader.
