Default Encyclia alata specimen massive bloom

This is a plant that belongs to a friend , it is mounted in the base of a triple stem roebellini palm cluster in south fla.
This plant is as happy as they come, right spot, right light, regular water and feeding and good air movement.
This plant originated in a community pot that I purchased from H&R many moons ago and I distributed some plants to friends. My Friends Bob and Miriam have done a superb job caring for this plant and it shows. This years bloom encompasses 53 spikes, most are branching and who knows how many hundreds of flowers

Florida is a long state and extends from sub tropical climate in south (Miami area) to north Florida where climate is temperate and we get severe freezes every winter
