Default Cattleya gaskelliana tipo

Frustrating plant. Even though there are seven new leads, and each one is in spike, only a couple of leads produce flowers simultaneously. And each new growth frequently produces only a single bloom, which means there's never really a big show or an instant bouquet. But it's a trouble-free plant plant that's easy to grow and flower--and the blooms are wonderfully fragrant. So I probably shouldn't whine too much.

Very pretty, I got a seedling from C & H back in March. Hope to have blooms in a few years I got it for the blooming period (my birthday) and the fragrance, which I have not experienced but as you say I have heard it is nice.

One flower is a massive show already. Incredibly nice. I also like the white one too from your other thread.
