Realize this is an older post but....my 2 cents

In my case this is a progressive bloomer...been in bloom for about 6 weeks and one flower opening now and a bud that may not make it. There were 4 flowers previous to these shown.

Exclamation Help with BL. Morning glory!!

Okay... I bought this orchid about three years ago at the northwest flower and garden show from a grower that lives in Hawaii. It has flowered once for me and was amazingly fragrant and beautiful. I want to keep this plant alive but am having extraordinary trouble! I grow in warm-intermediate temps with a converson Metal halide on a HPS ballast. My problem is that the latest two new growths, are about six inches tall and have these black sunken spots ( more like patches rather than spots ) and I can't figure out what to do!!! I have attached a picture but it is not that great. It is definitly visible though. Is it a virus and I need to rid of it? or is it a fungus that may be controllable? any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!!! I just want to save my baby!!!

Awesome, I like how it changes color!! I always remember seeing these at the orchid shows and thought they were just spectacular. Are they hard to grow?
