Default C. Peckhaviensis x C. luteola first bloom

First bloom of an interesting hybrid from SVO. I'm not sure what I think about this one... I found another picture of the same cross bloomed by Jewel Orchids (second photo) near where I used to live in GA. Beyond the dominant lip color, looks quite variable!

First foto has some characteristics of C. dormaniana.

Me neither! It's exciting to see all the variety in the cross. I see why Fairorchids and others buy multiple seedlings.

You're right - it kind of does. the lip and column jut out like someone's nose. It is a little odd looking from the side.

Yup, this is the first bloom. It does have a faint spicy fragrance.
